I usually just use Miracle Grow for Indoor plants to repot my plants and flowers.
It’s usually pretty affordable, around $15 for two 6 quart bags. This particular product repels gnats and other small critters that may invade your houseplants. (A problem I’ve had with other brands of potting soil)
It also feeds your plants for up to six months, so no need to add extra fertilizer for quite some time after repotting.
Bottom line, it’s a trusted brand that does what it’s supposed to and I recommend it for most indoor houseplants.
That’s about all I can say about Miracle Gro for Indoor Plants.
When it comes to fertilizer I believe that the less effort needed the better the results.
I really like the idea of just sticking a spike into my potting soil once every six months or so and not having to worry about it again.
Once again it’s Miracle Gro to the rescue. I’ve been using their fertilizer spikes for years and am satisfied that my houseplants stay fed and fertilized all year long.
They’re also really affordable at a cost of around $3 for 24 spikes.
